Ok, I see that I have already posted out of order because when I posted Graysons "Texas Rangers" 1st birthday party held in Texas I stated my next post would be his other birthday party held in Georgia. I made the banner, candy bar wrappers and cupcake wrappers. Grayson's mom (my neice Holly) did all of the rest and did a beautiful job putting it all together. Can't wait to see what she has planned for his 2nd birthday! We all love that precious little boy!

Trying to catch up with my posts
Ok...I am finally going to take the time to post some of my party designs and favors that I have made in the past. I am going to try to keep them in the order of each event, but probably won't be successful because I can't remember when I made most of them and unfortunately didn't put dates.

Can't believe I haven't posted to my blog since July!
I have so many other items to share with you, so I guess I need to get busy loading all the pics. I will try to keep them in the actual order of events, but I am so far behind that will be next to impossible.
Since my last post, I have taken several baking and decorating classes, so that means I have to share some of my baking creations. Yes, I know that means more money spent on new and additional "hobbies". I call them hobbies because for some reason I don't make any money, just spend, spend, spend!

TEXAS RANGER BASEBALL BIRTHDAY PARTY
It was a Texas Ranger Birthday Party for my niece Holly's son Grayson. Grayson is turning one, and we celebrated one of his 1st birthday parties in Texas at Mimi and Big Daddy's Home Field (my sister Cyndy & brother-in-law Kenneth) in Longview on Saturday, July 2nd. Because Holly, Grayson & his dad Jason live in Atlanta, Ga., he will have another party on Saturday, July 23rd so his other grandparents and family can celebrate also. The Atlanta party will be a Funky Monkey party. Stay tuned for those favors and decoration on my next post. I was lucky enough to be able to attend his Texas party. My daughter Laci will be attending Grayson's party in Atlanta. Guess I can't make them all, right?

Graduation Inspirational Tile
My daughter's friend Sam graduated from University of Arizona this past May. I love this inspirational quote and thought it was so appropriate for a recent graduate. I made this tile for Sam and we gave it to her at a graduation party given by her parents held in June. Congrats to Sam Quenneville!
A PARTY FOR JAMIE
My friend Elle gave a birthday party for one of her friends, Jamie. I love turquoise and had so much fun designing favors for this party. I didn't attend this party, but I know they had a wonderful time and enjoyed all of the favors and decorations.

AN ANGEL WATCHES OVER OUR HOME
My precious mom passed away in February of this year. God called her home after many years of struggling with the horrible and debilitating disease of Alzheimers. These words are so special and I knew that I wanted to make something for myself in memory of my mom. I also have a sweet friend that lost her teen daughter about 6 months ago. When Mother's Day was approaching, I wanted to give her and her family something that might help to ease the pain they would be experiencing on the first Mother's Day without her. I decided to make a tile using these words cut in vinyl. I finished it the night before Mother's Day. Early next morning I found a text from my friend wishing ME a Happy Mother's Day. I didn't get to give it to her that day, but we met for lunch several days later. We ate, drank lots of iced tea and talked for over 3 hours about our loss, and the wonderful memories that we have of our loved ones. I love this family and think about them every day.
