RYLEIGH'S BABY SHOWER

A BEAUTIFUL SHOWER FOR A BEAUTIFUL BABY GIRL!!

 

It's been almost a year since Ryleigh was born, but I am just now posting the pictures of the shower we did for her mom Meghan.  I personally would have loved to have a beautiful baby shower like this one.  Meghan is one of my best friend Elle's daughters, so of course we went a little overboard because we were having so much fun planning, etc.  We spent many hours shopping (of course we hated that part of it) for invitation paper, candy bar vases, and all of the "just the right pink" supplies it took to make the candy and dessert tables look spectacular.  And, I think it turned out to be everything we imagined it could be and more.   I designed and made the invitations, banner, prediction cards, cupcake toppers, cupcake wrappers, cupcakes, cake pops, chocolate covered pretzels, etc., BUT my bff Elle, put it all together.  I can design, cut print, bake, etc., but she is the one that knows how to beautifully set it up and put it all together.  Did I mention that this was Elle's first and only grandchild?  RYLEIGH NICOLE we love you!  Doesn't everyone love working with "pink"?  I do!  Sorry for the bad photography, that is one hobby I haven't really been too successful with.  Although I did take a few lessons over 35 years ago. Thank goodness we didn't receive grades for that class!

DAD'S 80th BIRTHDAY

We gave my Dad a surprise party for his 80th birthday in Texas.  I made the banner and cupcake wrappers, but my talented niece Holly made the delicious cupcakes.  We didn't want to have a Dallas Cowboys party, so we just made everthing navy & silver with stars. Thank you to all of our family and special friends that helped us celebrate our dad's birthday.

Grayson's 1st Birthday in Georgia

Ok, I see that I have already posted out of order because when I posted Graysons "Texas Rangers" 1st birthday party held in Texas I stated my next post would be his other birthday party held in Georgia. I made the banner, candy bar wrappers and cupcake wrappers. Grayson's mom (my neice Holly) did all of the rest and did a beautiful job putting it all together. Can't wait to see what she has planned for his 2nd birthday! We all love that precious little boy!

TEXAS RANGER BASEBALL BIRTHDAY PARTY

It was a Texas Ranger Birthday Party for my niece Holly's son Grayson. Grayson is turning one, and we celebrated one of his 1st birthday parties in Texas at Mimi and Big Daddy's Home Field (my sister Cyndy & brother-in-law Kenneth) in Longview on Saturday, July 2nd. Because Holly, Grayson & his dad Jason live in Atlanta, Ga., he will have another party on Saturday, July 23rd so his other grandparents and family can celebrate also. The Atlanta party will be a Funky Monkey party. Stay tuned for those favors and decoration on my next post. I was lucky enough to be able to attend his Texas party. My daughter Laci will be attending Grayson's party in Atlanta. Guess I can't make them all, right?

The banner elements above were all cut using my Cricut cutting machine.  I used the banner svg kit from SVGCuts to cut the pennants.  Each letter was designed using Make-The-Cut software . Sure Cuts Alot is another program I have to design cutting files . Yes, I have both programs, does that really surprise you?
